Packers Plus is the pioneer of open hole, multi-stage horizontal fracturing and we provide technology-based solutions 
to the oil and gas industry around the world.  We are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to join our team supporting our Manufacturing and Engineering facilities in Edmonton.

Primary Role Focus

Support and promote Core Values through effective support of employees and management at engineering and manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, working closely as part of a 3 member advisory team and working collaboratively with specialized functional HR teams.

•    Reports to Senior HR Business Partner, Edmonton

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Consultation
•    Support and advise managers on Organizational Design, Employee Development, and Employee Excellence related matters
•    Stay current in HR law, Employment and Labour Standards, applicable codes and legislation, all designated HR knowledge areas, and relevant technology
•    Partner with managers to handle all disability, leave and performance matters

Communications
•    Utilize technology to analyze data
•    Inform decision makers of data analytics and useful metrics 

Relationship Building
•    Develop an intimate understanding of the business, manager and employee needs
•    Communicate insight and knowledge to HR Team

Coordination
•    Partner with managers and HR specialist teams to meet objectives related to employee life cycle processes as required

Experience and Skills

•    Previous Oil and Gas experience considered an asset
•    HR generalist or specialist experience
•    Experience in coordinating projects from concept through closing
•    Knowledge of and experience with HR law and Employment standards

Education and Training

•    Post-Secondary Degree in Human Resources an asset
•    Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) is an asset
